Post Sigma New FF Lenses

Sigma has announced 4 new FF lenses. Seems to be a lot of good in these, but they are FF and are big and heavy, especially if you are used to 4/3 or APS-C consumer grade lineups....

I can attest that their 85mm Art lens is a beast, a real upper-arm workout, but also sharp enough to cut yourself.

This series tends to come in slightly cheaper than the comparable OEM lens, so I'll be interested to see where they fall when Sigma finally releases the pricing.

Big and heavy, but boy are those lenses sexy. Sigma has really stepped it up the last few years.

Kind of thought big and heavy too, but if all else fails you can crack them over a bears head and get away before being eaten to death.

I just bought a nikon 24-70 after I wore out my Sigma. I wish they had done this a few months sooner but I have to say the Nikon is no slouch.

True enough, but no autofocus and no VR and only manual aperture control when used with a Canon body.

The 100-400 could be interesting if I can fitted to my Olympus with AF etc

Quite a bit cheaper than the Panasonic version
