Default Can anyone recommend a printer?

I have a budget of about $300. I would like to buy an inkjet printer to print photos with. They do not have to be bigger than 8X10. Can I find a good one for that price? If so, what would people recommend? Thank you.

Default Thank you...

I've heard it is good. It appears to be a little above my price limit ($399 at B & H) but maybe it will come down soon.

I decided on and purchased an HP Photosmart 8450. I didn't even know about it until I went to a couple of stores. I came home, read up on it and went back to get one the next day. I really like it a lot and would recommend it if you are in the market for an inkjet photo printer.

With that budget, the Canon i9xx series is good. However, I would advise looking into services like mpix and whitehouse color, too. Remember that a printer without expensive profiling hardware is often frustrating.

I'm using HP's 1315xi its an all in one. It does fairly decent quality prints. I normally us it for everyday photos or proofs. It was less the $150 CDN and does a decent job up to 8X10. For "special" prints I still take the files to the local photo shop.
