Canon 9500MKII Versus Epson 3880

I am trying to decide which printer to buy. I have narrowed it down to the Canon 9500 and the Epson 3880 (which is a slightly updated 3800). Both printers have their proponents, but I am having a difficult time deciding which one would meet my needs the best. Is the following analysis correct? Anyone done the same comparison?

Summary

• Canon 9500 - major limitation is 14ml inks, but supports 10 inks; cartridge cost ~$16; No wireless or network capabilities; reliable; max paper size is 14x23 (maybe 14x26?)
• Epson 3880 - New ink design - Epson UltraChrome K3 Ink; 8 inks (9 tanks) but has larger tanks (80ml) w/2 blacks auto sharing a channel; cartridge cost ~$60; max paper 17 x 22 (maybe 17 x 34 with appropriate driver?); unable to do 13x19 borderless (not clear if this is correct reading the specs)

I do not do a lot of printing so the small cartridge size on the Canon 9500 might actually lead to more effective shelf live; although the smaller size would run out of ink more often?

Will 10 inks on the Canon produce better colors than 8 on the Epson?

Based on standard paper sizes available, one is limited to 13x19 on the Canon but can print 17x22 on the Epson. I do not know how often I might wish to print on 17x22 paper.
