This was not one printer, but TWO. Epson should have simply exchanged it under warranty. There was NO reason under the sun to buy a second printer, and even less reason to buy a new computer. I admit that Epson tech support can be pretty useless, but there is plenty of good advice to be had elsewhere. In my considerable experience with Epson printers, at home and work over the last ten years, problems such as this are usually caused by double-profiling, corrupt printer drivers or nozzle clogs.
