Default Epson 1400 printing

Ok, so I bought an entry level wide format printer. I bought an Epson Stylus 1400 13" printer and so far love the 8-9 prints from it.. I should have done this years ago instead of depending on photo labs.

Anyway, I'm not fully versed in the "in-house" printing and was wondering if anyone could give some pointers?

Thanks,
Ian

What do you plan to do with the prints?

1 Have them matted then mounted and framed to sell?

2 Matted for your Portfolio or a Models Portfolio

3 Hang on your wall, which goes back to 1 anyway

4 Just Matted to place in a box and put away?

Depending on your needs, the needs of the customer or the needs of the wall?

But sometimes you need to be opened minded. I have sold a couple of prints that I wasn't expected to go so I had to have them mounted and framed at the spur of the moment. There is an Art Framing Place not too far away with custom sizes and not that bad prices. So I have used them on several occasions with no complaints from my customers.

I have a 1400, too. I want to mount and frame my pics. I'm set up to do all of the matting & framing in my basement. I've been so busy that I haven't yet had a chance to do any of it and can't wait until I can.
