Default Paper

Old discussion I know, but I never made note of it. What type of paper is best for portfolio work. I take portrait mainly.

Default Re: Paper

Whatever fits the individual photo. Painterly or soft toned images I like matte, for hard (contrasty) prints I like luster or gloss. Don't print as to what somebody else might like, print how you like. Your portfolio should be about you. No hard and fast rules here, and will vary with color vs. B/W. Be sure you try Ilford Fibre Silk! Best to ya
