Default Photo labs in Ontario

I have a need to print some images for an art show and am getting frustrated trying to find a photo lab to print them in Ontario. I'd like something of decent quality that can go in a gallery. Does anyone have any that they use and can recommend?

Any help would be appreciated.

Easy

Hey Easy,

Though I haven't used any of these labs since moving to Alberta two years ago, I would suggest you have a sample file done at a each of them and go from there. Varying degree of quality and price.

recently switched to custom colour imaging... website it ccimaging.com.

So far so good - customer service from counter isn't the best, but product so far has met expectations.

Almost forgot, if your looking for more fineart type printing, Pikto apparently has some really nice Giclee options. Prices are higher than Custom colour, but delivery is faster...

You should PM Ed Shapiro. Although I will be surprised if he doesn't find this thread.

I have also used Pikto with good results. They are located in the Distillery district which is a neat place to visit with some great shooting opportunities as well!

Hi, I haven't used this guy. but I did get a presentation from him as part of a photo course I was taking at Humber. Certainly knew what he was talking about and some of the print displays were terrific. See FOTO|BOX

(I know a first post should be an introduction, but I saw this thread & wanted to respond anyway !)
