Ok, here is how it is going.
I went to the local printing guru and he gave me the color image he uses to check his printing and a print from his high end printer. I also ordered two differnt kinds of paper from Canon. I printed the image he gave to me on Canon Pro Platinum (PT-101) and compared it to the print he gave me. They are almost exactly the same. And of course, both are not as "bright" as the monitor. I used "printer manages color" and it looks great. I will do a bit more experimenting with color management, but it appears it was mostly the quality of paper. I also printed a Black and white of one of my images and it looks great. I will just need to work on adjusting the brightness in the monitor, to get the brightness I want in the print. I also got some Fine Art Paper "Photo Rag. That will be interesting to see how it comes out. __________________
