I am looking for a way to order matted prints online - ie, I send the digital photo online, and the company prints and mattes it, and then mails it back to me.
Ideally I would be able to do this in bulk as they would be sold locally to tourists. I live far from any decent sized town which is why I prefer to do this online. I am also looking for something with decent prices and perhaps better prices for bulk orders, as these would be resold. Any suggestions? __________________

Mpix doesn't do mat only. They only offer a mat when you also buy a frame.
However you can get mats and clear plastic bags for them at: https://www.documounts.com//content/home |

Thank you - I was also looking for clear bags as I found blank photo insert cards which would be another option (cards with envelopes) but I couldn't find the plastic bags for them - they sell them at documount so that solves that
![]() However Mpix does seem to do mat with or without frames, at Mpix.com - Mounting and Canvas |

Lots of places offer the printing and shipping options but I do not know of any that will do the mounting and matting as well. Some do that when its part of a complete frame job but not very cost effective when you want to resell. Still the best package for most artist is to get your prints done at a good commercial printer, buy your pre-cut matting, backing and clear bags at a place like Redimat.com or one of the other sources out there where you can get them in bulk and do the work yourself. Works real good if you are selling at art shows and fairs yourself and not needing a fulfillment center.

Personally I would go to Redimat | Ready to ship matboard, backing board, and poly bag kit.
You can order up packs of 25 in the standard sizes. You will have to mount the pics yourself, but it's really pretty easy. It takes a little time though if you have a ton of prints. Your profit margin will be much higher though!! Best, Jay |

I've been keeping an eye out for mats and bags as well, checked out Redimat, looks great. Thanks for posting that link, Jay!
Edit: Doesn't look like they ship to Canada, but checked out documounts, and they do Thanks Keith! |

Check out clearbags.com I order their bags all the time. The offer a lot of products and they ship quick. They also, have excellent prices on mats. However, they don't mat the photos for you.
