Printing problem

I'll try to keep this as short as possible.
I have a 2200 & a 2400 epson printer that run off of my computer (windows XP), the 2400 developed a bad black ink leak and i sent it to the certified repair center in tampa to have it repaired since it was out of warranty.
When it came back the leak was stopped, but it will not print anything but 4x6 prints.
Contacted the repair center repair person walked me thru doing a test page, printed that fine, downloaded new drives from the E home page installed them, rebooted comp. and still had same problem nothing but a 4x6. I have un-installed everything 5 times at least, "text book" re-installed it again with same resullts. repair person said if it will print the test page, it's not the printer, but I've talked to the MIS(Our computer people at work) and personal friend at Data Line Computer Clinic and they said if the 2200 will work with the software (which it will) then the 2400 should work also, and they say its the printer......
My wife gave me the go ahead to buy a 3800, but it's annoying me when i can't figure something out like this.
Does anybopdy have any ideas what might be wrong?
It was printing fine when i sent it to the repair center, just leaking , and i didn't change any setting on anything.
Any help will be appreciated.
