Default Print Screen in Photoshop

I'm trying to make a self-tutorial on certain PhotoShop procedures, and I would like to include screen prints of some of the screens [i.e. a picture in Quick Mask Mode showing the red Mask area. Please advise best way to do this. Thanks.

The easiest way is to use a screen capture utility such as "Capture by George" Screen captures made easy with Capture By George! or do a search for Screen Capture Utilities. Several have free, functional trial periods. You can adjust the size to fit just what you want to copy, rather than the whole screen, do the copy and paste into Word. In Photoshop you can click File > New > OK and then Ctrl V to paste what you captured into a Photoshop file which can then be saved as a jpg and pasted into the tutorial file. Once pasted into your file you can adjust the size to fit. I believe Windows Vista has a snipit tool which works like screen capture but can be adjusted to copy only the part of the screen you want but I don't have Vista so . . .
