I just downloaded the demo and I have a few questions. I sent YSI an email but have no clue in how quickly they reply so I'm posting here too.
1) I was considering FotoFusion and tried YSI. From what I can tell, YSI simply is an easy way to add a photo into a masked layer. Other than that, what is the real advantage? Seems like anything else I want to do, like add frames, drop shadows, embelishments, all have to be done in Photoshop. Am I missing something? 2) What is the general process of creating an album. Say I have 100 images that I want to put into a 20-page book. I import the photos first. Then do I need to load and save a template for each page spread? I'd then drag the photos into the apertures. Once each page is done, I save them all to PSD files I'm guessing. Then what? How do I transfer what is here to an album printer? Do I need to make each PSD into a JPG then turn that into a PDF? It seems like it takes a lot of extra work to make an album... unless, again, I'm missing something. 3) Is there a way to show image names for a proof book? Thanks much. __________________
