Default which printer?

I can't decide which printer I should get, Canon pro9000 or Epson R1900. dye ink or pigment ? Why?



Help me decide.

Canon Pixma 9000. Or the Epson 3800 if you plan on printing a lot.

I like the pro9000 but have had issues with color management and photoshop which took some time for me to sort out so i could have a reliable workflow. To validate my point there has been some changes with cs3 in regards to the to the profiling.
I would look at the P9500 because it offers pigment ink ,its prints better black and whites and will last longer then the dyes.


The Epson printers are first notch but I have no personal experience with them I would think either would suit your needs well.
