hi folks....hope you can help me. just got a new mac pro, and i have an epson 2400 printer. i've managed to screw up the profiling to the point its unusable. i've profiled the monitor several times, and it apears good. when i try to print however its not even close. i've profiled my paper printer combo. i've downloaded profiles for the paper, all to no avail. i'm using a monaco optix unit, and its always worked fine in the past. i've burned up a half box of paper and a bunch of ink. help!........ray

Have you checked Epson's site for updated printer drivers?
Sometimes the best thing to do is to reinstall, and start over again.

can we have a little about the steps up to the print? my first thought is maybe you forgot to disable color management in the printer? it sounds liek the monitor should be right so i think its a box or something you forgot to check or uncheck before you print.

hey guys....after reading your response i went over my print procedure carefully, making sure photoshop managed colors etc. i had downloaded the new driver but didn't get rid of the old one. i'll try that next. it has to be in the software somewhere....thanx for the help, i'll update......ray

thanx for your interest. my prob was not getting my old driver completely out befor i installed the new one. a friend sent me an email with a link explaining how to do it. once i did that and reinstalled the driver it prints perfectly. wanna thank you guys for your help......later
