Best Supplier of Matt Board

I do my own matting and buy from here and there and the prices vary as well as the quality. Is there a place that has good prices and good service. Everytime i find a place that's "cheap" it's because their always out of stock.

I've been buying my mat boards from Art Supplies from Dick Blick Art Materials. They're reasonable, never been out of stock (drop shipped from Crescent) and quick to ship.

They have a minimum number of sheets to order but that has not been a problem.

If you have a tax ID number, there are other places that you can buy from that will charge you wholesale but you'll have to buy larger lots. Sometimes, you can't win.

I like to use the local suppliers i can go and see it and pick it up personally and the good price given has came down over a pretty short period of time to a great price.

i can see what i am getting, no minimum order, huge selection, no postage so no risk of damage.
Works well basically for the business on both sides. referals etc.

Good place for matting but on the minimums I would also add that its just $50 if you are getting their Redi-Pak matting kits. Definitely worth a look.

I buy mats and other framing supplies from Dick Blick and from American Frame. Both have given me great service.

We have Hobby Lobby by us. Cheaper than Michael's.
