I have a friend who has started sending me photos and yet what I get, while appearing fine in Photo Editor, once called upon to print are not much bigger than say 1 x 1 and the properties of the file are showing the printing to be correct. Can anyone tell me what is happening here. Her camera is a Fuji and I cannot blow these 1 X 1's up enough to put in a frame. Does anyone know what is causing these digital images to look this way? The images were extracted by Walmart and put on a CD but all I seem to get is thumbnail type picture when she sends them. I have never had this problem with my HP camera. Any ideas?

I am not exactly sure about the ppi...I know the properties of the file are extremely small...very. It must be as Dougste is saying......I have never used a commercial place like Walmart myself so am not aware of the 3 types on the CD. I am used to loading the images to computer myself......I was thinking this had to be a thumbnail image yet I could not figure out how she was sending them to me like that. Thanks for the help guys.

Since most mail systems have an upper limit of 10 or 15MB per message (including attachments) your friend may not be able to send you more than 2 or 3 full-sized photos per mail message. That can be very inconvenient.
With Pando.com she can send you any number of full-sized photos/files upto 1GB per 'shipment'. With Podmailing.com you/she can send unlimited size files/folders! (But is your internet connection fast enough?). __________________
