Another quick question.
My Tiffs are 12.96in x 8.64in at 300 ppi. I want to print 6x4's but want to retain the original file in case I want to print a different size at a later date. If I resize to 6x4 without resampling, I now have 648 ppi. I can still send these to the printer, and I would assume either photoshop or the printer driver is resampling something in order to get the best result.(or is it?) Would I get the same results or better, if I resample to 300 ppi before I send the file to print? __________________

It really depends on the printer (the machine that does the printing). I've heard that for inkjet printers, the ideal ppi is somewhere between 240 and 380 but I've printed outside those numbers many times.
The only way to really know is to try it both ways and see what you get. __________________
