Default I'm going to kill my printer!!!

I need help....I have and epson R340 with a media street bulk feeder onboard. It works well most of the time. However there are times and this is one of them that it is streaking. I've cleaned the print heads and repressurized the tanks several times and still it streaks. Not every color though. The streaks are evenly spaced about 1/4 in. apart. It looks like the print head isn't getting a steady flow of ink but it should be. The cartridges are full and the heads like I said are clean and not clogged. Worst of all the test print page isn't missing any spots and looks perfect. So I load a sheet of photo paper to print out a model shot for my portfolio and whamo! I'm ready to see how many times this pile will bounce! Can anyone out there help me?

Andy

I don't have that printer but I've been reading up on these recently and a name that crops up more than once is Arthur Entlich. Apparently he has an excellent guide to cleaning Epson printers. Try dropping an email to e-printerhelp(at)mvps(dot)org explaining your problem and ask for his guide. It's free.

I have a 2400 and at one time I was getting the same thing until I set the printer for the weight (thickness) of the paper I was using. Solved that problem.
