Default What A3 printer would you recommend?

A3 is approx. 12" x 16" for our North American cousins.

I currently have an HP A4 printer - one thing I don't like about it is that it uses tri-colour ink cartidges, so if you drop too much in one then the whole cartidge needs replacing. I feel that I should be looking at an Epson or Canon printer that uses individual ink cartridges, and can also use the cheaper third-party refills. It doesn't have to be a new model - ebay is my friend in this area. Probably printing 60% colour, 40% B&W.
