Default Queston for Epson R2400 users

I am planning on upgrading my photo printer. Currently my choice is the Epson 2400 for several reasons. K3 ink, 13X19 print size are two of the most important. I am just a serious hobbyist but I want quality prints with a long image life. I have a couple of questions.
1 Approximately how many 8X10 prints can you get from a set of ink cartridges if all of the ink cartridges are being used equally?

2 How much ink do the cartridges hold? The box and Epsons site does not show.

3 Any complaints from 2400 users or things I need to be aware of. I am switching from an older Photo HP. Any info will help. Thanks.

The first question is really tough to answer. I never counted the prints but you will get more then you would expect. The ink cartridges will never run out equally. I found that the light magenta seemed to run out first followed by black and yellow. But that is totally dependent on your style of prints and printer settings.

2. The cartridges hold about 10ml. Each one is about $12 to $15 dollars. (pricey)

3. I have no complaints at all. Some of the best B&W prints come out of the 2400

I have switched my inks to Media Street Generation bulk feed system. I buy a 4oz.(100ml) bottle of ink for $19.95. That comes to about $2.00 a cartridge. There is a thread on Camel that talks about testing Media Street inks and Epson inks. Other than that, I love the 2400 and it just keeps on printing.
