Default Boy did I learn a lesson about my Olympus P40 Printer.

Let me start by saying that I love this printer. It usually prints clear bright photos.

I took about a year off from doing photos for other people, focused on nature photos and building my bird feeder business. Well I decided to jump back in and didn't consider the age of my printing supplies.

I couldn't get his printer to put out a decent picture for about a week. I even went out and purchased their new color management software to no avail.
Photoshop just would'nt print a clearn phot, or so I though.

I was just about to turn to an outside source for my prints when I remembered that I had old paper. The manufactures date was 2004. haha. I ordered new paper, and the printer was printing as if it had just came out of the box.

I understand that Olympus has discontinued this printer, and I assume the paper will go eventually. Does anyone know of a paper and film that will work for this printer that isn't made by Olympus?

Maybe I should break down and lease one of those HP printers that's as wide as my car. hehe.
