The 1800 prints 13x19 as well. And it has both photo and matt black slots, you don't have to change them. I do have to change ink catridges alot. I've had mine 2 yrs and it makes nice prints.

Stink Daddy,

Solve your problems with a printer that uses larger ink cartridges and the ink pr print costs less, i.e. Epson 3800, 4800 or the one of the new xx80 series.

I use the R1800 , mostly because it was cheaper than the 2400.
