I have only used WHCC. But looking at Mpix, they charge for shipping which can be 10.00 if you wish to get your prints fast or 5.00 if you wish to receive them thru the mail. WHCC does not charge for shipping but does require a $12.00 minimum order which if you look at it, you get a lot more prints for what it would cost to ship thru MPIX. I could not find anywhere that MPIX gives you a profile to use so that what you see on your screen will be what you see in print. WHCC does give you the files to calibrate your monitor so that your prints will look like what you see on your screen.
MPIX does look to offer more things such as photo buttons and such. I am curious how the quality of the prints are compared to WHCC. |

I agree with Morgan >
![]() I have seen MPix prints, and I'd say they couldn't get much better, but they didn't offer a profile when I checked. Also, they would NOT do anything to the image, unless you ASKED or TOLD them to. This means, if it needed to be cropped to fit the paper size you wanted, then YOU had to crop it before hand. If your colors were off, then they were off, and it was on you. I think they want them in sRGB or AdobeRGB, and you tell them that when ordering. They would "auto color" for you, but you had to ask. I would think they have a "generic" convertor to process and print on whatever their machine is, but it doesn't affect colors noticeably, I guess. __________________
