Default Epson r2400 ink costs

What's ink costing you for this printer? Have epson improved things any over the high cost of maintaining a 2200?

Great question! Got an Epson 2400 recently and printed 25 8X10's before the light magenta cartridge was exhausted. There are so many factors such as ink and paper cost. Do you have a formula to figure the cost of printing? I would like to know too.

25 8 x 10s does not seem like much, considering the enormous size of the ink tanks.

I believe it's the 4800 with the larger ink tanks.
