What to output on?
 

Hi guys and gals,
Only ever do printing at home but a friend of mine has asked me to get a head and shoulders portrait of her printed up to 16 x 20. My question is whether to go with either canvas or paper. I kinda like the idea of canvas but I am worried that it might soften the detail more than a paper print. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

sometimes you want to soften a portrait to cover blemishes. Maybe using the canvas will be better since it will help.
