I use Redriver papers. Their profiles work well for me too.

Thank you everyone for offering advice on here.
Unfortunately Red River doesn't have an outlet over here.
They do supply the UK, but I'm not sure how expensive the shipping would be.

Dang it! I often forget this is a world wide group. Sorry for overlooking that tiny detail, like the Atlantic Ocean.

The Premium Luster is very forgiving printing at larger sizes. I print some at 13x19, and have had very good results.

Good luck with whichever paper you choose.

No problem, Steve. I have found people over here asking about Red River paper on forums as it is good paper.
I might get some trial packs and work out how much it would cost for shipping.

Thanks for the Karma Claire (Bambers image)

the paper is important but so are things like :
printspeed (low for highest quality)
photo enhange (brightest /vivid results)

and best photo settings (be aware that the best settings drain your ink a lot faster ) and when printing on glossy paper .

Clare, I have been trying Ilford Smooth Pearl and their Gold Fibre Silk. I like them both for colour (Smooth Pearl is a bit cheaper), but the Gold Fibre Silk gives me great B&W prints. So far, I have only used the 8.5x11" (216x279mm). I am printing off a Canon Pixma Pro9500 Mark II. HTH.

Cheers,

WesternGuy
