I just have a little Epson R200. It's small but it meets my needs adequately. I like the look of the prints when I use Ilford Smooth Pearl paper.

I'm using the Epson 2200. I am very satisfied with the quality and availibility of various media. I will however move up to the 2400 for the advancements in B/W printing at some point. I would recommend this printer, although the bronzing issues might pose a problem to some.

I use the Epson stylus photo 925. It handles all my photo work and I am very happy with it. I have had it about 3 years. It has never failed me.

Canon !960. Very nice printer. I use RedRiver Papers and profiled the printer and paper using Cathy's Profiles. Excellent color output. Only drawback is that I am limited to 8X11 prints. Thinking about a wider print printer.

Edit: Have now added an Epson R1800 printer to my computer. Using the canned profiles with RedRiver Papers with good results. Considering having Cathy do a new set of custom profiles for me.

Amen to that Epson R2400 printer and especially the b/w software. It's like having two printers for the price of one.

If you pick the right paper and have your profiles....you shouldn't have any problems. Try the Red River, Ilford Galerie, Konica..If you can still get it and there is a new fiber based Inkjet paper that is supposed to run 139.00 for fifty sheets. Forgot the name of it though.

Still have the HP Deskjet 720C that I got refurbished from HP in 1997 or thereabouts. Not the greatest for photo quality work but I don't print much either. I have been thinking about getting an Epson that will take A3 or roll paper of indefinite length but I am concerned that most of my ink would go to unclogging the disused nozzles. :

I am presently using the Epson 825, 1280 and Epson 2200. The Epson 2200, I am selling to a photographer buddy and plan to replace that with the new Canon 9000 series when it comes out in the fall. I was on my way to get the Epson 2400 when I heard about Canon's newest so I an trying to hold on til then.

An HP 6970 A4 printer. Had it around 18 months or so. Great for B&W if using the grey ink, otherwise it's a bit of a muchness. I would still like to move on to an A3, but wonder how much I'd actually use it...

I am surprised how high the response to HP printers is, seeing as how Epson seems to be getting all of the - um - ink.

I use the HP Photosmart 8750. I use it in emergencies. I tend to send the prints out because I like the 16 x 20's and 20 x 30's. It does print nice 13 x 19 borderless though. I was actually thinking of maybe selling it to save space.

HP cp1700 LOVE it as it's a larger format printer (up to 13x19"). Wish it printed borderless.
