They sit side by side on my screen and that makes them hard to judge. Also, I really don't see any difference in the colors.

Why is side by side hard to judge? I put them together on the same canvas for just that reason. Nothing worse than scrolling up and down to compare, imo...

Plus I see a big difference in colors, especially looking at her face and at the overhead supports. I wonder why they look the same on your screen?

I see the left image as warmer and more saturated. The right side image seems to be more accurate in color. DISCLAIMER: I'm on my iPad, so I'm not sure my display is accurate.

Skintone looks more natural in #2 for me but I like the vibrancy of the colours esp hair in #1 but maybe a little too much for the face.

The image on the right is warmer and that's the one I prefer. The image on the left seems to have more blue.

Because of all those lines going in opposite directions pulling my eyes

On a different computer now and I see the one on the left more red in the face. The one on the right looks better.

I think your iPad is pretty accurate, Ed, thanks for commenting!

I think you and me are on the same page - I love that vibrant color on the metal supports and the red sweater, but you're right, too much for the face.

You're right, Brooks. Having a hard time learning Lightroom but today, I watched the Kelby tutorial disk that came with the program and learned a LOT. Hopefully I'll do better next time.

I should have separated them with at least a broad stroke! lol. Sorry about that.

You're right about the face. Thanks for the input!

You can shoot tethered into Lightroom. Just saying.

One day, my friend, when I can spring for a laptop, I plan on doing that! Or maybe building a cart for the desktop and pulling it around with me
