This is Josh, a friend of the family.

His mom wanted me to take his SR photos, after she had seen my sports work. MOM also did most of the posing, and Josh did the rest of "his" posing. I am not very good at having people pose, as I'd rather have them just be comfortable

C&C is wanted, as I have several other SR shoots during the next couple of months

That's a good series.
No doubt,
Is that fill flash on camera that I see in some?
I think you did a good job filling in the shadows with that, but it also tended to give a little flat lighting. The next step is to get some directional lighting either natural or flash and get some nice shadows/facial lighting/modeling.
I think the poses are pretty good for a guy his age. Good job with that.

Ya Fran, fill flash on camera was used, I took the softbox along, but it was soooo humid, that everyone just wanted to get the shoot over with

I used the flash in manual, as well as the camera in manual and tried to just get a little fill, but some were more flashed shots.

The family was over tonight to see the proofs, and they were exttremely happy (phew

), but I need to work on my PP skills some more.

I appreciate the feedback guys!!
