I am still in the beginning learning curve and have not had much time to shoot, due to illness in the family. Here is my try at portrait shooting. And I know I need a hair light, but other than that, any C&C is welcomed!

Overall very nice. It looks a little blown out on the forehead and cheek tho. I like the dreamy look and how you have dodged the eyes - they look good. However, they could be sharper. If you have applied a softening effect, then masking the eyes completely or partially would do it. Moving the light further to the subjects right would have helped with modelling.

Very pretty model.
Agree with what matelow said about the blown areas and the eyes. |

Did you take out any under-eye circles? There seems to be a discrepancy (sp?) between left and right eye/cheek area, where the subject's left eye seems to have a natural circle under it, but her right eye doesn't. It might be from the light on her left cheek (camera right).
Pretty photo. I think personally that the dodging of the eyes was a bit too much and would like to see more contrast in the eyes. But I love your background lighting. |

BG lighting is cool.
Pretty model with pretty smile. I agree about the highlights on the face and think that if you took the exposure down a little the face there would be less blown highlights on the face and more contrast. AS it is, it's an appealing shot of this beautiful lady though. Keep on posing and welcome to the Camel __________________
