Default Couch and Eric

How do I balance strobe and ambient? Any pointers? What should I be measuring with my flash meter?

There are a lot of threads here if you search on balancing ambient and flash, but I think this helped as much as anything.

While you are studying you might also want to look at some compositions that do not chop off extended limbs. Just a suggestion.

I don't see an issue with over-exposure, Jay. Couch and Eric? LOL

I actually shot most of these full+some and cropped down. Sometimes I just like a closer shot. But yes, I too hate the chopped off limbs as well, but I don't cut them off at joints anymore at least so it doesn't look like they've been "chopped" off.

No no no! you're supposed to say... man, you need work But thanks, I liked them also, but still those were only a few of the many. Catch my drift?

Oh, you should have the seen the ones I DIDN'T post! Then again, I'm still learning how to use this Sekonic L-358. And I haven't "calibrated" it because I like how my shots turn out. It's a learning curve.

Yes, COUCH and Eric. You didn't see the couch in the shots? I didn't want you guys to take one look and say "oh no, it's another shot of Danielle" Haha.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Now, time to learn s'more!
