Tony - It looks to me like you have a kind of bi-polar histogram on this.. Meaning not much in the midtones a lot of black and a little on the white end. That might be the effect you wanted, but a lot of the shot is blocked up in the shadows. The face is not blown, but I think might have contained more detail with a bit more even distribution of light.. Great model and a great expression!
