Default Kids with ink.....

Ok, I'm kidding. Not till they're 18 anyway. These are my friend Jose's kids. My tattoo artist. So I figured I should brush up on my kid pics being that my relatives are popping out baby's like the hispanic race is on the verge of extinction. lol.... But I had my lighting issues. The right side was too hot the whole shoot. No matter what I did. But, none the less mama liked the pics so far. As long as mama is happy. But here ya go......

Ernie, a bit too much post work on them for me. Kids shouldn't require any post IMO.

I think they are cute. The focus seems a little soft though, or is just me?

Nice shots. Although I tend to feel kind of uncomfortable with little girls in "grown-up" poses, in the case of the second one it doesn't bother me much because the little one is reflecting the pose of the older one.

Cute kids, I'm glad mama was pleased.

Maybe on the older one where they are together. IDK....They seem ok on my end. I didn't do any gaussian blur or anything. Thanks! I appreciate the feedback....

lol....I feel ya, I was trying. Grown up poses are the only poses I know. Mama had a lot to do with it though. She just wanted them to have fun.

I disagree with this a little, Hawk. My older son many times has dark circles under his eyes, particularly if he didn't sleep well, and my daughter does, if it's allergy season. Probably at least half the time in their portraits, I'm taking those out.

I see, in the shot of these 2 girls together, that they have some dark circles under their eyes that would look better, imo, if they were cloned over partially or lightened with whatever technique Ernie uses.

Nice, Ernie - these are cute kids!

A little cool in color temp on the first couple, and the DOF on the second one causes a bit of softness...but you are on the right track with the posing and nowness of the shots.

I don't know. Last couple of images from you were pretty good. These are not so good IMHO. I agree that the colors seem to be off slightly. I like your edgy stuff better.

that I can agree with, but not skin smoothing. Ernie said he didn't do anything, but the skin looks too processed. I'll try to be clear next time.
