My first shoot with this awesome, 6' 2" red head that we had a blast working with today. This is a quick and dirty one I wanted to get up before I pass out for the night.

Doesn't do anything for me (Sorry) - but would love to see the original it just seems a little too grainy

Great portrait. Has a real depth of character to it, and the grain reminds of when I was shooting HP5 and doing my own push developing.

John, did not want to post an image without your permisson but I got to playin alittle. Try something like this see what you think.

1. Dup image
2. Gaussian blur 25
3. hue/sat hue 45 sat 25 check mark colorize
4. set layer to multiply or softlight
5. layer mask the dup layer
6. use black brush at 15% and brush away on dress and a lil on shadow side of hair.

Just a thought

go right ahead, I have not really started to work on these images, I just wanted to get at least one quick one done last night.

I like what I'm seeing here. However, I would soften down the background branches a bit.
They are currently competing with the model for attention. I would not "rid" the photo
of the branches altogether, as I do like the way that they play off her hair.
