Just sharing...warning "Mom Moment" alert! lol
Our church has 2 young men who are (churchspeak) "called to the ministry" and have publicly announced this during 2008. One of them just happens to be my older son, who is 15 years old. Tonight, our preacher turned over the sermons for the evening worship service to these two young men, who each preached for about 15-20 minutes from a sermon they had written themselves. It was a great night and they both did a fine job, and both seemed to have fun with it as well. My son said he absolutely loved it. He asked me a little while ago "did you think I made my points well?" I said "do you want to see my notes? Then you can see the points I got from it." He looked them over (a whole page, lol) and smiled and said "these look a lot like my sermon notes" so he was happy about that.
Anyway - I'm a proud mom tonight and just posting some photos from it. The first one is definitely a "Mom!" moment as he straightened his tie, and then a couple from before the service started, and then he made me promise to only take ONE photo during the preaching. I kept my promise, and the last 2 are that photo and a closer crop. Just sharing - hope you enjoy and celebrate along with me. It's definitely been a night of realizing that I don't have a "little boy" any more...  Thanks for looking. __________________

I love the expression in the second one. Shoot fire, I'm gonna want to come down there and go to church with you Sis...as long as you cook some good Gumbo and Jambalya while I am there.
