I like it too, Rense - pretty lady and she looks nice in white.
I think you did a nice job getting light under that big hat - maybe you could have used a little more, but it's still nice. There are a couple of places where detail is blown out, like her hand holding the hat straps...do you have enough detail in the original to bring some of that back in? Sis |

I like it too Rense but have the same problem you and Sis do. Also I think the skin has gotten a little washed out. Mind if I make a quick adjustment and see?

I just opened a curves layer and clicked Options > enhance per channel contrast. It seems to help. Try it and see what you think.

Lee,
I like the saturation and color better on your take of the image. Rense, the image under the hat seemed underexposed in the original. I agree about the blow out. Did you try using "Ctrl" J and multiply to darken the image and then bringing back the detail on the skin with a layer mask? Quote:
