I downloaded Lightroom 2.0 to play around... boy I love it! I need to buy it as soon as I can afford it!

Your taste may be different then mine but I love the clarity I got on this image in LR2 vs the images I got from Elements 6

I just started playing with it today... I am not sure what all file types it supports... I am importing RAW files into it... what file type are you working with?

I was importing RAW files as well. I use Canon's. Don't remember which of my cameras it came from though.

I do see a bit of different. Your Elements shots seem a little flatter to me.

Only the software that is from your camera manufacturer should produce the "best results", but it is a subjective thing. We discuss a lot of this in the Image Editing forum, and we discuss Lightroom and PS in there as well.

Honestly, Lightroom does a good job, but it really shines when you make a Develop preset that works best for you, and on your images, from your camera. Therefore, Canon or Olympus should be developed differently. I have a preset for my camera.

As for this image, it is rally nice in the eyes. I don't go so much for the "bright" look however, but some like it.

it must just be me LOL

I have 2 old ones I pulled up and edited and the differences are very slight I think... I can see it but dont know if anyone else will.

I will go upload them!
