I was trying a couple of different single-light techniques, and thought I would post the results. These are all done with only one light, although there were various reflectors involved.

I think the top one has too much light spilling over from the top. Otherwise a good high-key like shot. The other two are good "gritty" images. The last one has a good composition about it.

Thank you. Any tips on how to reduce that top light spill?

The "gritty, edgy" feel is exactly what I was going for on the other two.
