This is pretty interesting. I think your post work makes this shot. It wouldn't be nearly as compelling if everything was razor sharp. Thanks for sharing.

I've been accused of being too concrete for art interpretation.(cement headed actually) but I like this better viewed from further away. Does that mean it's too soft? I like the expressions and composition.

thank you guys for taking the time
, this is actually my only B&W work.the color version was oversaturated due to lighting. lots of work to make it decent but I knew there was something in the image, I just had to reveal it, but it was very hard. if the picture had been sharp it would have been not very interesting like you point it maurice. and patterfr I 'm not sure we still can continue to talk about softness here as I will compare with grainy analog 3600 asa, I'm not sure using usm would bring back sharpness here, only sharpness of the grain I think. but you are right sometime the 85 1.2 help to get image in very low light but sometimes they are not focused where you want, at this time I dodn't have the Ee-s so it was auto focus, this image shows me that emotion and what is inside the image is prevalent to technique. but they might be linked. and prometeus, I made my collection of lens looking what people considered the best lens so that if something is wrong in the image it's my only fault it might looks cool but it's in fact the harder way.you have no excuse if you are a bad photographer, and you have to really work to get the image. a bit of a sacerdoce, if this word make sense in english![]() |

Has lots of love in those eyes. I like this kind of treatment for some shots, and this is one of them.
