You have a very attractive young lady there and I'm a sucker for freckles!!! That is a great capture of that little guy as well. That is a happy guy and you caught all of it!!!!

That first one has some shine to it, and I gotta agree that blue feather has to go. The second one is much better! The grandson one is great, but you can take some off the top.
All three of these need some serious sharpening. |

My thought was the sharpening as well. Beautiful people, but a little too soft. Blue feather...already mentioned. That grandson was in quite the mood! How happy is that?

Hi Titan, like other have said they need some sharpening. After you resize for the web be sure to open them again and add some USM if your using Photoshop. A good starting place is 150 - .3 - 0 then adjust to suite the photo. Welcome to the Camel.

I'm diggin' the second one. She reminds me of Allyson Hannigan.
I also agree that they need to be sharpened some. |

aside from the previous comments (sharpening, blue feather, crop) im not really diggin the hair in the eyes in no.1. she has great brown eyes and i feel that the hair kind of obscures them in the first shot. the second shot, you maintained the hair but you can still see the eye clearly. in the 2nd one, i was thinking this is very cute! freckles and hair, great smile and framing... till i saw no.3!! very cute expression and good lighting! maybe pull some off the top like goofup' said (maybe try an 8x10 aspect ratio) and i think you have a winner!!

thanks to all of you for the comments. i noticed they didnt look as good after i resized but i have to upload them from work i cant get high speed at home, still on dial up (too far in the sticks) they came straight from the camera so i had to use MS pic manager to resize. i have PS 7 at home. i still dont know how to resize and maintain the original integrity of the photo even with PS 7. if anyone could help i would owe you one.

How about working on them at home with PS, get 'em like you want 'em, resize 'em (don't be surprised if you need to tweak the sharpening a bit after resizing), then put them on a floppy or USB stick for transporting to work?

The lighting is flat and PS won't be able to fix that.
The light is too high for the little boy. There is no life to his eyes. They are too dark. __________________
