Thanks m8. He followed me arround for about 1 hour, loved seeing his picture on the back of the camera, going to Phnom Penh again in November and have done some prints of this little guy, will try to find him and give them to his parents maybe. Ian

An URCHIN is a child living wild on the streets or with little support and guidance from parents or adults... Ian

Ian,

I am getting more and more inthralled with your work! In this last shot, you have caught in the young childs eyes that look that I have seen throughout the world. We have been very lucky in our lives in not having to lived like that or in most cases, we go on living without being aware that others still live like that!

for me its has always been that look in the eyes!! Whether it be a child, a young person or adult that has very little hope!

Thank you for reminding me of the good things I have!

A Somber Dakota

Thanks for the comments and looking at my work. We just don't know how lucky we are in the west. The strange thing is these kids seem, in the most, happy and full of mischief. I love um to bits.
Ian

Ian, I can see a real person in there. I felt badly that you named him Urchin, but I understand why. That he followed you around for so long says something about your character...he was drawn to something. The attention you gave him meant more to him than you will ever realize, I am sure. Good luck finding him.
