Played around with PS and came out with this. I though this requires a tight crop like this. I might have to clone out the tip of the finger at the bottom? I know there is some stray hair but I did not want to clone it out ...

I like it very much. I am a fan of tight crops. Yes, I think perhaps you should clone out the last fingernail.

I like the image, great skin tone and good lighting. I would have liked more right eye detail. IT almost looks like it is missing/damaged.
I think I would tighten the crop on camera right to just be in hair and maybe a little tiny bit from the left. |

Padre and Kgphoto ... my postprocessing should magically draw your eyes to the left eye only and make you forget about the other eye, so I failed ... hehehe Cheers
btw Padre ... just had a look at your pbase gallery ... I love he shot with the tree and the zigzag in front ... |

I love this! I'm a big fan of tight face crops and have one of all the significant folks in my life!
You did a great job with this one just as it is (although, yeah, you could lose that little finger tip) |

JDart, thanks. I'm surprised you digged this old thread out ... thanks for the karma although it was for the avatar and not in praise of my work

I am a huge fan of close crops and this image is no exception! Very nice job on the conversion. Oh, I think I would clone out the tip of the finger as well. Very nice!
