I was hired to take Graduation pictures at a small christian college near DC. It was the first time that I brought my whole studio with me, but it was fun.

I did pay attention to their hands. I tried to pose the ladies hand int he first pic but she kept snapping back to this. Eventually I just took it that way because I had another 30 people waiting

I think you did pretty well. The Lighting and the background worked well

I do not mean the posing, but the cropping. Either take them entirely into the picture or not at all I would have moved closer, as they just distract from the faces, but assume this is quite a personal choice.
