This photo.... (updated)

I had placed it on Jones Soda almost 2 years ago... I had forgotten all doing that... until today when I got an email from the company asking me to submit a model release form to them... has anyone ever dealt with Jones Soda?

OK... so pbase is down... I will add the picture once they are up.. in the mean time any one dealt with Jones Soda?

they dont pay anything... you just get your photo out there with your name attached to it. Is this bad? Has anyone done it before?

I have never delt with Jones Soda before other than drinking! I had not heard of it before my kids showed it to me. (My kids love the stuff... but I like it mainly for looking at the pictures!) Even though you dont get paid for the pic... it might be kind of fun having the pic out there... I have seen some awesom photos on the bottles!

Bad? No....not bad......but I imagine Jones Soda pays their staff....and for the bottles....and the drinks....carbonation, delivery folk....even the people who make the labels.....But you....who make the bottle so attractive that someone might buy it just on that basis No......not bad.....I guess.....Bob

Is the photo of a child of yours? I know my own children would be thrilled to have their photo on a bottle of soda. It's pretty novel. That would be payment enough for me.

I give away usage rights for my images every so often. It all depends on who asks. When I say yes, it's mainly to non-profit organizations who's cause interests me, but I'd make the exception in this case if it would bring a smile to my kids' faces.

yes, it is my son who is now 4 1/2.... he was almost 3 when the photo was taken. My older children are excited as they know what Jones Soda is (even my husband and in laws are excited) my 4 year old has no clue what it is LOL and I have never been paid for any photos so I am not missing anything I would love to be paid... someday.....

I wouldn't hesitate to give them permission. My kids would find that fantastic if that was them. Besides if you don't someone else will and you missed out on the opportunity and bragging rights.
