I like the shot. That's very cute. Did you use styrofoam for the egg shell? That's pretty cool.

Lots of white is the only thing that bugs me. Don't know what I'd do different but maybe a sky blue background making it look like it was in the air?

good shot, but I think Blinky would press you to make some more texture of the egg visible

This is a cute shot. May be a little too much spill from the background lights onto the arms and face. Maybe a little washed out. Try black cards between lights and subject? Could be washed out from posting.

Very cute. To make it better, pull the child farther away from the background. You may even need to reduce the background light some. You are loosing contrast because of the spill from the white background.

I suppose it has been said but I have a very poor reaction to blanked out whites on skin. I also have an unnatural aversion to the colors blue and cyan when it comes to people (even when many of us are a bit cold looking this time of year). My initial thought is overexposure. I like the idea of this shot but I am just not a fan of the forehead merging with the background. The digital prop has a shadow on the outside on both sides suggesting the only matching light would be from above and I doubt I would like that any better. I really can't say the mismatch of lighting direction bothers me as much on this one as it does on most digital paste ups (but don't know why). The pose is fine. I might lose that little bit of skin below the denim so it does not draw attention asking if that is a knee or a foot.
