Lonely bride? The groom is an idiot.

Nice image by the way. Odd jacket for a bride, but that is me.

Still think the groom is a goof though.

it ain't always, but this time I totally agree with Mr. Pickles

The groom has gone bonkers and your sepia/monotone transition is exquisite.

Is this all 'natural light' or is there a 'fill' somewhere ?

Thanks for sharing, kindest regards,

Max@Home

Just like Max@home says, "exquisite"

We don't know the girl, but your title 'Lonely Bride', introduces us to her situation somewhat but even beyond that, this portrait conveys emotion... maybe she's not willing too believe that she's been abandoned despite the evidence? Of all places for a bride to find her self, on a barren concrete loading dock... how forlorn and sad

Goodness, as a newbie I'm learning lots of stuff here. Like the way you've balanced her white dress down in the lower part of the photo with that chunk of white wall space in the upper part of the photo... and you've got her lightly toned face nicely framed with darker tones so that we're drawn to it.

I've recently read somewhere that we (I'm including myself here photographers should leave a little white around the whole eye, but here with her eyes shifted completely over to the side it seems to give an urgency to her waiting.

I checked out your web site, lots and lots of excellent portraits. All the best in your mission.

again two thumbs way up for this photo, just excellento!

That's a real dress....she was married once.
And....not long after taking these shots, she separated from her current (then) partner !

Hey, very good picture. And I like the jacket - looks like she left in in a hurry.

You certainly have a great collection of beautiful women to call upon Freddy. I think the sepia works well here. The moody backdrop fits right in with the tale you're trying to tell. Very evocative.

i like the look....feels kinda editorial in feel.

I also like the touch of the jacket - seems to add to the mood of her being lonely, and now that i know that she was "once" married....it all comes together...
