My Latest Photo Shoot

I did the latest photo shoot this morning with Trudie, Steve, Kayleigh and Hannah and it was a lot of fun. Not least as their two dogs came along too!

Let me know what you think of the output and if I can improve on anything. I was using my 70-200 a lot of the time and even at ISO640 I was still only getting 1/60s. This led to quite a few shots that were not sharp and therefore ended up in the trash. Not sure how much longer I can do outside shoots for, well not in dull conditions anyway.

I tried some natural light shots but the results were not too good, I am finding that I use fill flash nearly all the time. This is something I think I need to work on as the flash can become noticable.

Thanks for the replies.

I know they are not that exciting as far as portraits go, just bog standard shots, but the clients wishes come first. At least until I get more confidant about trying different ideas out. Plus it's earning me some pin money to re-invest into equipment.

Hi Alex! You do have some nice shots and I really like how the girls seem to really be into it. You might want to get some opinions on white balance as the color ones seem to have a bit of cast to me. I believe they could pop a bit more but my eyes aren't the best. Good work!

Thanks Padre, I will look into that. Which ones in particular? I must admit I struggled to get the WB right when processing these but thought it was pretty even.

Alex, I downloaded the 2nd color image and checked the info readings on the white on the lady on the lefts shirt. It measured r-220, g-213, b-207. I changed the values to 214/214/214. I have the edited version if you would like for me to email it to you to see. I don't want to do anything with it without your permission.
