Default self portrait

I was messing around today in my dining room/ studio with my lighting. I badly C&C input on the lighting. snide comments on the model are accepted (or is that expected). Never realized how tough this is without a model.

Lighting White umbrella camera right, reflector camera left and background light directly behind me.

I would have cropped it the long way and would like it better if you looked into the camera. I also feel that there is not enough light on your face.

The focus is spot on... nice and sharp so thats great! Remote or Timer?

Remote and a short one at that. do you think the light ratio work? I do agree it seems overall a bit dark but there has been no PP

Just a little too dark, but the light ratio looks nice to me.
