You have some wonderful shots here. My favourite is the first black and white one (with the sunglasses), the conversion and expression seem to go together really well and there is an intensity to it that appeals to me. There's a lot to like about the first one too, good composition and a great setting and a handsome model, but (and take this with a grain of salt as I am no professional) to me some of the impact is lost as the tree seems so much sharper focus wise than the person, that my eye keeps going to the wonderful colour and texture of the bark, rather than resting on the model. FWIW.

Thank you. The first black and white one captures the whole personality of Max. I hadn't thought of the tree drawing the eye, but now that you mention it, it does! It's a good tree! Thank you. I wonder, was I focused on the tree and not Tye, or is it because the tree is such a large tree? Hmm. The site where that shot was taken, is the site of both Max's and Tye's Eagle Scout project, not that that matters... just rambling. Thank you for your take on them.
