I haven't taken a photo in 4 days now.
My camera and lens are in for calibration and it may be another 2 weeks before I can take pictures again... I think I'm going through withdrawl ![]() __________________

You guys are great
Actually, the Canon rep told me that if the body tested ok, it might be returned before the lens (should the lens need calibration). So, there is some hope I can use a returned body with my 50mm 1.8 lens in the near future. |

No, Eric, seriously, it's called backup. For instance, every real event pro will always have a couple or more camera bodies, and a handful of lenses, and a few flashguns, to cover all contingencies and have backup should something go south. Can't afford that as a pro.

I want you to understand that this is not your fault,I would like to take you back when you were a child. And your father took pictures of you with that Polaroid and you smelled that emulation that is the root of your addiction. I can help you but it will be $ 350.00 hr. John |

Well, for $350 an hour, I think I can forgo the therapy and just buy a used body. I'm not that screwed up just yet
![]() However, I also don't depend on my camera for a paycheck, so I'll just sit and mutter to myself until the calibration is done. ![]() |

I've found another way to pass the time until my camera gets back - catching up on ordering prints from the past few moths that I've fallen behind on. If I can't make more photos, I can at least enjoy the work I've already done...

HMMM,
Just wondering the steps show 2.8 then 4 on up. What happened to 3.5 ? Many of my favorite lenses still display 3.5 and they work just fine! Actually none of my lenses are marked 44. 45, 64, 128 but not 44. I guess I am just showing my age, C Webb __________________
